My name is Simone, and The Astra Sanctuary was born from my own healing — from the pages I filled on dark days, the rituals I clung to when the world felt too loud, and the softness I fought to protect within myself.

I live with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder — two paths that have taught me what it means to rebuild yourself again and again, with tenderness, with courage, and with hope.
There were seasons where the darkness felt endless.
There were days where simply breathing was an act of rebellion.
And yet, through it all, I believed — somewhere deep inside — that magic was real. That healing was real. That I was still whole.

 

Through spirituality, I began to find glimpses of myself again. It is also here I found Astra, my amethyst elephant. She became a symbol of quiet strength and cosmic memory.
She reminded me that true magic lives in the gentle things:

✨ A whisper to the moon when no one else is listening.
